Our Work

As young people, we often have to fight to find leadership positions in progressive spaces; our voices may be shut out, or we may feel silenced. We value our mentors and elders, and the knowledge we can learn from them – however, we need a space that is our own.

We define young, primarily, as ages 15-35 – however this is flexible. If you are older but are emerging as a leader in your field, we are still open to working together.

Young Activists United provides a space for young people to develop the skills necessary to become social justice leaders. Through trainings, actions, solidarity work, and programming, we provide these spaces for young people of all backgrounds and walks of life.
